If you weren't looking for this page, but have arrived here anyway, let me introduce myself. I've been a full-time writer for twenty-one years with fifty books published (novels, collections, novellas, etc.) and more on the way. Additionally, for some twenty-six years or so, I've been playing Celtic & Americana music in one band or another, and more recently have begun to study fine art.
The best definition I can come up with for my writing was in a review that described it fantasy for people who don’t normally read fantasy. I've taken to calling my writing "mythic fiction," because it's basically mainstream writing that incorporates elements of myth and folktale, rather than secondary world fantasy. I've written the latter, to be sure, and dabbled in science fiction and dark fantasy, but an overall view of my work will show that such stories are very much the exception, rather than the rule. (For those of you who are interested in reading reviewers' comments about my work, there is a link in the index below.)
I’m delighted that the novels and stories are so well-received within the fantasy and science fiction field, but I’m also very pleased that so many other readers enjoy them as well. My fans have been incredibly loyal and supportive to me. If you are one of my readers, I'd like to say thank you for helping me make a living from what I love to do.
Since there appears to be an interest in my work on the Net, I've realized that I should make this material available at my own website so that it will be all in one place and factually correct. (One site that was brought to my attention a few years ago listed me as deceased as of 1987, which is obviously not true.) I hope the information I'm providing here answers any questions you may have about me and my work.
If you need to to contact me, you can write to me at: P.O. Box 9480, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K1G 3V2. Or send me an email. While I don't have time to enter into long correspondences (I'd never get any writing done if I did), I will try to answer questions that come my way, either directly or on the FAQ page, but due to the large volume I get, it could take awhile.
As you can see, my inbox is full to overflowing...

As you can see from this article, the use of a boycott in the struggle against the child sex industry has ended. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean the struggle for children's rights is over. The new focus is on the National Association to Protect Children. Consider getting involved with them, or look into similar associations local to you.
Also, below you will find a link to the resource section of The Zero, a site concerned with combating the abuse of trust and power, wherever and however it may occur. Choose your topic in the drop-down menu, then click on "Go to RESOURCE section."
